GRAHAM Construction wins Major Contractor of the Year at 2017 Building Awards.
GRAHAM Construction has been named Major Contractor of the Year at the annual Building Awards, surpassing some of the industry’s biggest names to win one of the evening’s most prestigious prizes which was open to companies in the UK with turnover of £300 million and above.
GRAHAM Construction part of the GRAHAM Group, is one of the UK and Ireland’s leading construction businesses and one of the five Principal Supply Chain Partners (PSCPs) appointed to Frameworks Scotland 2. Commenting on the award, Executive Chairman, Michael Graham said: “GRAHAM remains focused on its continued and sustainable growth, working collaboratively with clients and industry partners to successfully deliver lasting impact, value and innovation across a wide range of sectors and signature projects. We are delighted to have received this accolade, which comes towards the end of another highly successful year for the business. GRAHAM Construction currently boasts over 100 live construction locations across the UK and Ireland, with works spanning a range of signature healthcare, education, defence and civic projects including the new £134m Baird Family Hospital and Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy (ANCHOR) Centre for NHS Grampian in Aberdeen and a £100m ‘Schools for the Future’ programme for Dumfries and Galloway Council.
The ceremony, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Tuesday 7 November was attended by more than 1,200 people from across the construction industry.
