The Frameworks Scotland 2 team recently organised a successful Healthcare Planning Information Day at Bridge of Allan. This was attended by over 60 delegates from a finance, estates, strategic planning representing: 15 Health Boards and Special Health Boards, Integrated Joint Boards for health and social care, Scottish Government, Scottish Futures Trust, together with representation from the Principal Supply Chain Partners (PSCPs) and four of the Healthcare Planning Organisations.
The Event was organised with the aim of setting out of the strategic context for change and what the implications of this are for those involved in healthcare delivery across Scotland and sought to demonstrate practical ways of meeting these challenges.
The Information Day included insightful speakers from NHS Dumfries & Galloway, NHS 24 and the Scottish Government, setting out the implications for service change combined with the leading healthcare planning consultants involved with Frameworks Scotland 2 identifying how, through working in partnership with NHSScotland, service improvements can be delivered effectively.
The presentations were followed by a plenary session where questions were fielded by those attending to the representatives of the Healthcare Planner organisations in attendance.
