GRAHAM recently installed two new accessible toilets at St. Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie, free of charge.

These works were originally going to be tendered, but GRAHAM were more than happy to carry out the project for free as part of their commitment to the local community and the Framework Scotland 3 appointment with NHS Lanarkshire.

The Facilities Manager reported that GRAHAM staff did a fantastic job and communicated well during the installation process. GRAHAM also received a heartfelt thank-you letter from the Hospice.

Debbie Rutherford, GRAHAM Social Impact Manager, Suzanne Stevenson, GRAHAM Social Impact Advisor, and John McGrory, GRAHAM Environmental Manager, also very kindly volunteered to plant Thanksgiving Thistles in the Hospice gardens for a Thanksgiving Thistle Service. Over 800 thistles were planted! Many people throughout Lanarkshire had dedicated a thistle in memory of their loved ones, so the support from our team was very much appreciated.
