GRAHAM Construction were pleased to collect the NEC Contractor of the Year award at the 2016 NEC Users’ Group Annual Seminar held at One Great George Street in London.
The award is in recognition of GRAHAM Construction’s collaborative approach to working with NHS Lanarkshire, NHS Highland and Health Facilities Scotland, the Framework Manager for Frameworks Scotland 2 on NEC3 Option C contracts. Building on GRAHAM Construction’s “highly commended” achievement at the 2015 NEC Annual Seminar, they have continued to develop the process of mutual trust and collaboration across a number of their projects utilising NEC3 contract procedures.
This has been of great benefit to both GRAHAM and their clients, no more so that through their involvement with both NHS Lanarkshire and NHS Highland where GRAHAM Construction have embraced clause 10.1 of the NEC3 contract and offered both NHS Boards a unique and high level of expertise ensuring shared learning, collaboration and value for money across two multiphase redevelopment projects within a live hospital environment at Monklands Hospital in Lanarkshire and Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
