The Review of Public Sector Procurement in Construction published in October 2013 recommended that Project Bank Accounts should be piloted on a number of public sector projects across Scotland. NHS Lanarkshire and Graham Construction, in conjunction with HFS, participated in one of the pilots which involved the Backlog Maintenance works at Monklands Hospital delivered through Frameworks Scotland 2.

HFS is a member of the Scottish Government’s Project Bank Account Policy Leads forum and as such has previously commented on the draft guidance being developed by Scottish Government on Project Bank Accounts. We have now been asked by the Scottish Government’s Construction Procurement Policy department to circulate the latest version of the draft guidance to wider NHSScotland stakeholders for your consideration and comment.

The guidance is available for download at the following link:

Alternatively the documents can be found within the Members’ Area.

Please send responses by Friday 5th August directly to the Scottish Government’s PBA mailbox which is ProjectBankAccount@gov.scot
